    Machine learning with honest validation

Machine learning, predictive maintenance, sensor analytics, computer vision, anomaly detection, forecasting and industrial IoT analytics, designed around data quality and leakage-free evaluation rather than headline accuracy.

    • Data audit firstUnits, gaps, sampling and labels are checked before any model is trained.
    • Leakage-free evaluationSplits that respect time, units and batches, with simple baselines for comparison.
    • Honest reportingUncertainty and limitations are stated. This site publishes no unverified performance figures.

    Methodology

    How a project runs

The proposed service process, from enquiry to delivery.

    1. Initial enquiry

You describe objectives, data situation, deliverables and timeline through the enquiry form.

    2. Requirement assessment

We review the enquiry, check for missing information and clarify what a successful outcome looks like.

    3. Technical scoping

We define the questions, methods, inputs, assumptions and acceptance criteria, and check feasibility.

    4. Expert identification

We identify the technical expertise the scope requires and confirm availability before committing.

    5. Proposal and quotation

You receive a written scope, deliverables, timeline and quotation to approve before work starts.

    6. Project execution

Analysis, modelling or writing proceeds against the agreed scope, with check-ins on material decisions.

    7. Technical quality review

Results, assumptions and numbers are checked for consistency, and manuscripts are verified against your source data.

    8. Delivery and agreed revisions

Deliverables are handed over with documentation, and the agreed round of revisions is completed.

    Quality & research integrity

What you can expect, and what you will not be promised

    • Transparent methodology

Methods, assumptions and limitations are documented so work can be checked and repeated.

    • Research integrity

No fabrication, falsification or plagiarism. Work is based on genuine data and sources.

    • Confidentiality

Confidentiality terms can be agreed in writing; share the minimum needed and avoid sensitive uploads through the public form.

    • Reproducibility where applicable

Parameters, versions and data handling are recorded so results can be reproduced.

    • Clear project scope

Deliverables, assumptions and acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts.

    • Technical review

Results and numbers are checked for consistency before delivery.

    Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about scope, integrity, confidentiality and how engagements work.

    What is ENGRexpert?

ENGRexpert is an engineering research and technical consultancy. It supports researchers, universities, research institutes and engineering organisations with computational modelling and simulation, data analysis, AI and machine learning, optimisation, technical reports and manuscript development. Work is delivered remotely against a written scope. See the about page.

Is ENGRexpert a freelancer marketplace or a staffing agency?

No. ENGRexpert is a consultancy: projects are scoped, agreed in writing and delivered under one engagement. The website does not operate a marketplace of individual freelancers. How a project is staffed is discussed at scoping.

    Who are your services for?

Professors, researchers, doctoral students, universities, research institutes, engineering companies and industrial R&D teams.

    Which engineering disciplines are covered?

Civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and communication, aerospace and aeronautical, automotive, chemical and process, materials, packaging, manufacturing and industrial, robotics and mechatronics, environmental, earth sciences, geology and geophysics, energy and sustainability, mining and petroleum, agricultural, food, biomedical, marine and ocean, applied physics, nanotechnology, computational science, and AI and engineering data science. See research areas. Feasibility for a specialised topic is confirmed during scoping.

Can you help with CFD and FEA?

Yes. See CFD simulation and finite element analysis. Credible results need geometry, properties, boundary conditions and ideally validation data; we identify what is missing during scoping.

    Can you analyse engineering datasets?

Yes. We provide statistical analysis, data science and time-series work on experimental, simulation and sensor data you are authorised to share. Please describe the data first rather than uploading confidential files through the public form.

Can you help prepare original research manuscripts?

Yes, from your genuine data, methods and findings. We help structure, draft, edit and format. We do not create results, experiments, citations or author contributions. See original research manuscripts.

    Can you guarantee publication?

No. Acceptance depends on editors and reviewers.

Can you write my paper for me?

We support authors who write and own their work; we do not ghost-write papers to be submitted as the sole work of someone who did not write them.

How do I submit a project enquiry?

Use the enquiry form to describe your objectives, technical requirements, expected deliverables and timeline. We will review it and propose next steps.

    How is confidential information handled?

Share the minimum needed and avoid sending sensitive data through the public enquiry form. Confidentiality terms can be agreed in writing before material is exchanged, and secure transfer arrangements are made per project. See the privacy policy.

    Does ENGRexpert hire remote experts?

ENGRexpert publishes remote expert roles on its careers page. Roles relate to our service areas, and engagements are agreed in writing. Applications are sent by email.
